By the Brooke: One DIYers Quest for the Perfect Bistro Table
When it comes to Do It Yourself projects, we know there are a lot of variables, and a lot of effort goes into the design and build process. That being said, the rewards from going the DIY route can be plentiful! One of our customers searched high and low for the perfect, small bistro table to fit in a bay window, and was unable to find a complete table that fit her style, space and budget. This is where DIY really comes into it's own! With the help of Craigslist and Tablebases.com, Brooke was able to make a custom bistro table that is beautiful, functional, and most importantly, way under budget! Is It Rude to Bring Your Own Utensils to a Restaurant?
This question popped up on Quora recently, and the responses were more nuanced than we expected. Is it rude to bring your own cutlery to a restaurant? Use Table Legs to Breath New Life Into an Old Table
Our friend Susan Bowers was in need of metal dining table legs for her 40 year old wood table top. Our welded steel PL3 legs were a perfect fit! Instead of buying an entire new table set, Susan can keep her butcher block table top for many more years to come. DIY success! Check out our original blog post for more info ---> here

Q&A: What Are Leveling Glides?
Leveling glides are the plastic feet that screw into the undersides of our bases. All of our bases ship with leveling glides, though they are not all interchangeable. Leveling glides help compensate for uneven floors, such as tile or outdoor pavers, so that your tables do not wobble. We even have unique glide options such as the PronToe glides and hydraulic leveling glides (shown in photos below) that make it easy to level tables that you may frequently move around.
