Covers Unlimited Inc, a Chicago based custom furniture manufacturer that also specializes in reupholstering and refinishing. For this project, they utilized our
RFL450 Table Base, cut to a custom height, to create some stunning custom ottomans. The ottoman frames are kiln dried poplar hardwood, sustainably sourced. Covers Unlimited then puts in a commercial strength webbing suspension, and stuffs the piece with high density foam. Each piece features custom designed fabric and patterns, and as you can see, they look fantastic!
Covers Unlimited was founded in 1986 by Lawrence Weinstein, who had a passion for refurbishing tired furniture. Weinstein made his business known by walking into offices unannounced, telling the office manager "Give me a chair you are thinking of throwing out and let me reupholster it...if you don't like it...the job is free...if you do like it...give me some more chairs!" His unique approach worked, and Covers Unlimited has continued to grow ever since. They offer custom furniture, furniture reupholstering, wood refinishing, leather refurbishment, and even interior design services!
