Classic Tom Collins

Refreshing, effervescent & light

Ingredients (1 serving): 1 1/2 ounces gin 3/4 ounce lemon juice 3/4 ounce simple syrup soda water, to taste. Garnish: Brandied cherry, blackberry, or your choice of fruit. Directions: 1) Add gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup to cocktail shaker. 2) Add ice and shake until chilled 3) Strain over ice into a Collins glass 4) Top with soda water 5) Add choice of garnish

Jalapeño Avocado Margarita

Bold, spicy & spirited

Ingredients (2 servings): 4 1/2 ounces tequila 2 1/4 ounces Cointreau 2 1/4 ounces lime juice 2 slices avocado 2 slices jalapeño 2 sprigs cilantro

Garnish: Jalapeño slice and cilantro sprig

Directions: 1) In a cocktail shaker, muddle avocado, jalapeño, cilantro and lime juice until avocado is thoroughly mashed. 2) Add tequila, Cointreau and ice, and shake until well chilled. 3) Strain into a rocks glass over ice. 4) Garnish with a slice of jalapeño and a sprig of cilantro.


Americano (Cleveland)

Americano

Sweet, complex & layered

Ingredients (1 serving):

1 1/2 ounces Campari

3/4 ounce sweet vermouth (preferably Dolin rouge)

3/4 ounces sweet vermouth (preferably Carpano Antica)

4 ounces pilsner

Garnish: Orange Wheel

Directions: 1) Add ice to a Collins glass 2) Add Campari and sweet vermouths 3) Top with pilsner and garnish with an orange wheel.
