  3. Custom Ottomans using our RFL450 Stainless Steel Table Base

    Ottmans Today our customer photograph comes courtesy of Covers Unlimited Inc, a Chicago based custom furniture manufacturer that also specializes in reupholstering and refinishing. For this project, they utilized our RFL450 Table Base, cut to a custom height, to create some stunning custom ottomans. The ottoman frames are kiln dried poplar hardwood, sustainably sourced. Covers Unlimited then puts in a commercial strength webbing suspension, and stuffs the piece with high density foam.     Unsplash The familiar "5 servings of fruits and veggies a day" recommendation may soon receive a revamp, based on new research from the World Health Organization. The UK's National Health Service is now recommending 7 servings of fruits and veggies per day, noting that the increase can dramatically decrease a persons risk of disease and health related death, the Huffington Post reports.      Mezcal If you are of legal drinking age, you have probably heard recent buzz surrounding the drink Mezcal (though considering the spirit hails from Mexico, I suppose you could know it at any age). The agave based liquor has earned a loyal following in recent years as more and more Americans adopt the craft brewing and distilling movement. The small-batch product is made from agave, just like tequila, but with some major differences in cultivation and production that affect the finished products. The LA Times recently released an article describing the rise of the spirit in Southern California, thanks largely to dedicated Mezcal and Tequila bars.
